Enhancing cybersecurity and optimising our data management are key priorities in our Corporate Risk Management Plan. After an initial IT assessment, we identified that migrating all on-premises infrastructure to Microsoft Azure Cloud offers several significant advantages:

Microsoft Azure Cloud allows Matahio to scale resources up or down, without the need to purchase or install additional hardware. This flexibility enables Matahio to manage growth and adapt to changing demands with ease.
In 2024, we successfully migrated the on-premise Active Directory (AD) authentication servers across all sites to Microsoft Entra authentication services. This has effectively eliminated the need for individual authentication servers in each site, consolidating user management under the centralised Microsoft Azure's Entra platform. Furthermore, at our Manilla office we have successfully migrated all applications to the cloud, allowing them to run entirely on Microsoft Azure cloud without any physical servers on-site.
By the end of 2024, our goal is to complete migration, enabling the Manila, New Plymouth and Kuala Lumpur offices to run all IT services on Microsoft Azure Cloud.
